Cornett Enterprises

London, KY

Brent Cornett is a producer in London, KY.  Brent grew up on a dairy and tobacco farm and later attended the University of Kentucky and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and a minor in Agriculture Economics.  Brent has farmed since 2001 with his wife, Rhonda.  Rhonda also grew up on a dairy and tobacco farm and attended the University of Kentucky where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education.

They purchased their home farm from Brent’s parents in 2009, creating Cornett Enterprises, LLC.  During their farming tenure, they have raised burley tobacco, grain, hay, cattle, and hogs along with wholesale produce.  Currently, they raise around 125 acres of produce along with operating a farrow to finish operation of about 30 sows, and about 30 brood cows.  In addition, they have a 40,000 square foot greenhouse operation and 30,000 square foot of cold frame vegetables. In 2020, Brent and Rhonda launched their retail produce store, Cornett Farm Fresh to serve their local community with local, high-quality produce.

Brent and Rhonda have two children, Jarrod and Miranda.  Jarrod’s responsibility in the operation includes logistics and shipping, equipment operation, and sales/marketing.  Miranda’s focus in the operation is horticulture and field operations, sales/marketing, and labor management.
